TVB’s announcement that this year’s Anniversary Award winners will be determined by a live audience voting system has thrown fans into a frenzy. TVB artists have been campaigning for fans to vote for themselves, including Tavia Yeung (楊怡), to improve their own chances. At a shoe promotional event on November 16, Tavia was asked whether she felt confident in winning TV Queen this year. “I will vote for myself and ask all my friends to vote for me as well!” With rumored boyfriend, Him Law (羅仲謙), having a breakout year in TVB dramas, Tavia promised to vote for him. “I hope that he has a chance to win an award.” Him is currently filming Triumph in the Skies 2 <衝上雲霄II> in Europe, but will return to Hong Kong to attend the Anniversary Awards next month. Tavia suffered a fracture while filming A Great Way to Care 2 <仁心解碼2> earlier and her leg is still currently swollen. Portraying a police officer in the drama, Tavia had numerous action scenes. After falling down in one of the scenes, the bone in her leg was confirmed to be fractured. Due to the filming schedule, Tavia bit back the pain and continued to film fight scenes in the drama.
