It saddens me to see the failing of the tea culture. To me, coffee is a pragmatic need while tea is a private luxury -- tea's never going away, at least not in my household -^_^

And my dentist warned me not to drink too much tea the last time I went for a control...she immediately saw I was drinking way too much of it. -blush

(I'm still allowed to drink tea but she advised me to make sure I drink water right after it or chew on some Xylitol gums)

I started drinking coffee and tea (and hot chocolate etc) from a straw when I am on the go since it kind of slows the staining -sweat

But for Chinese tea(s), I will still drink it from the cups since it's the traditional thing to do -tongue2

Yeha I know, I also drink tea/hot choco thru a straw when I'm at home (and when I dun forget about it that is) but I can't do that outside the house lol! Would be weird looking; an adult drinking tea out of a small plastic cup thru a straw! -lol

Uh... That's one tea I don't drink from straw... Since I doubt that it would stain my teeth.

But not only is carbonated drinks bad because it's sweetened, even tonic which is barely sweetened is a catastrophe to your bones.

Not a fan of cuteness -devil

It takes a lot of milk to make up for the bone loss due to carbonated drinks... But then again, males are not as prone to osteoporosis as females... So you probably are safe -lol

That would depends on where you are... Certain places have municipal water filtering systems which are pretty decent.

ye coffee can taste really nice but i don't mind drinking tea though i must admit if a gd coffee is made it prob is better than tea, unless u drink bubble tea which is very nice. :D

Perfect example of the phenomena described by the article: people don't know tea. Most bubble tea doesn't use high-quality tea leaves so it leaves A LOT to be desired as a ambassador of the tea culture.

Tea can be as good as, if not better, than coffee, you just need to find good tea...
