Yes I saw it, and haven't read the book yet. A little confusing, but it's pretty good - like the puzzles they solve and the intensity that persists throughout the movie.
seen it, and i agree it is confusing if you haven't read the book or if you have no knowledge on the foundation of christian/catholic background thats why im reading the book right now haha hers a short summary off a site: A murder inside the Louvre and clues in Da Vinci paintings lead to the discovery of a religious mystery protected by a secret society for two thousand years -- which could shake the foundations of Christianity. trailer: http://www.imdb.com/rg/title-tease/trailers/title/tt0382625/trailers
Ok..Got this email from my friend...very funny if you understand the language. Here the link: http://www.syfc.org.sg/events/dvc/cinema.html
saw this the other day and it was long and sometimes boring! the film should of ended like an hr earlier god kept dragging on. 5-6 /10
I saw the movie ( against my will) last weekend, and it was alot better than I thought. I usually resist watching any kind of entertainment that is religiously (christian) themed, but since the point of the movie is that the church is secretly holding back secrets that could shake its concentration of power in the world, I liked it. Also, it helped it was much more a chase/mystery movie than like angels and devils popping out of nowhere. As for religious grounding, I'm not so sure, since the "facts" and "evidence" that Dan Brown has is in question, that's a topic i need to do more research on.
i heard there are a lot of cut scenes in our country....too bad...i guess that's because philippines is a catholic country
yes, i believe that's right. the movie version tends to cut off important details included in the book
