i finally saw it... and realized this was inferno affairs..| teh movie that news had said long long tim ago where the americans bought the script from MO GAN DO. lol.. neone know what i am saying?
soo i suppose theres 2 more of these comeing the departed: starring: jack nickelson, matt damon, leonardo dicaprio
i vote no more copying. this movie is infernal affairs. there is no way the american movie industry can out better the asain movie industry. it was just stupid when watching this movie when scnes from this movie was the exact scence in infernal, such as the follow from the building. or the elevator scence. the list can keep on going.
Americans are creatively deprived, they keep on adapting films from foreign markets. Just look at all those Japanese horror films! Not that they are THAT bad, I just think we don't need a not-very-brilliant remake so soon after the original.
i believe they bought the script from them.. and remade it .. becuase the infernal affairs series was a great success
i haven't heard ANYONE in the American shows mention Infernal Affairs when introducing The Departed. ... actually i take that back. i was watching MTV Canada this morning, and they pointed out that its originally a Chinese trilogy, which is coming out soon in the American markets. or w/e
well hollywood seems to like it... too bad they never watched the better version a.k.a the chinese version
...and they credited the adapted screenplay to a Japanese film during the Oscars when "The Departed" won. They need to get the facts straight as well. Did anyone see/hear that tonight?! "The Departed" won four Oscars tonight...
i cant believe that they won so many awards bitting off infernal affairs but than again infernal affairs was a good movie.
