The Director & Cast Talk about "Hooked on You" Miriam and Eason had a change from their usual image in the movie "Hooked on You" under the director Law Wing-Cheong. "I was worried at first that Miriam cannot meet the requirements of the character, but there was a crying scene. She couldn't stop crying after we stopped rolling the camera. No one dared to disturb her. I know she put in a lot of effort in playing the role. As for Eason, he specially went to the street market to observe how the market vendors behave. His 'street-man romantic-ness' and Miriam's tears helped the movie a lot. They are the producer's and my top choices." Eason had a scene of driving the speedboat. He was excited because he thought he was able to drive it, but ended up he only had to sit at the backseat and pretend he's driving. He hope to learn how to drive a boat so that he can bring his family out to the sea. Miriam supports him and hope they can go out to sea someday. Having to work with Eason again, Miriam said both of them have grown up, but Eason is still as playful, "It's really happy filming with Eason. He kept telling jokes on the set, but both of us nearly angered the director till death!"
