Pre-season about to start up. Also pretty excited about Toronto getting the 2016 all star game. Probably won't go because I don't wanna pay that much money to see Lebron walk up and down the court. Would be real cool if Wiggins makes the ASG and maybe even win the dunk contest though. Basketball in Canada is growing! So yea, let's talk ball.
what's up with the raps getting a brand redesign? i loved the old dino logo and then the footprint kind of grew on me. if a logo change is part of it, i do hope they go back to the dino. keep the colors the same too!
One of the reasons they want to re-brand is to try and make the Raptors feel like Canada's team instead of just Toronto. Might also be to try and jump on the ever growing basketball scene in Canada to capitalize on the fact it's as strong as ever. I'm excited for the rebranding tbh. I always disliked our jerseys. Our logos are kind of boring, aside for the one with the actual raptor on it. Always had a soft spot for that.
Do people in the States like the Raptors or something? I see a few US fans online thinking Toronto has a legitimate chance to make the playoffs. We ain't making any playoffs this year.
Toronto will make the playoffs, not because they got alot better, but because teams like Bucks, Hawks, and Celtics(all made playoffs last yr) got alot worse.
