I have never owned an AAPL product before. Honestly, I didn't care for the IPHONE or all the hoopala, but I found that the IPOD TOUCH to be pretty cool after playing on it. The only issue I have is that online applications are very limited and a bit frustrating to me. Especially w/ typing. My primary uses: -Want to learn educational games -Learn Korean, Chinese -Play games particularly RPG, Strategy games like Final Fantasy I am a primary PC user though. I guess you could say, I am looking for function-ability, but I don't want to be completely immersed in it. Would 32 GB be sufficient either way? I'm kind of leaning towards the IPAD 2 though.
Then get the iPad. If you're not going to bring it everywhere with you, iPad will be the one to get. If you want a portable device, then get the iPod Touch. or iPhone 4S -whistle
do u folks know of any quality case or cover for teh ipad2? what capacity would be sufficient? 32 gb i was thinking.
Smartcover Depending on your need.. get a 64gb! Remember, you have to choose wisely since the memory isn't expandable.
I guess my post don't count.. I bought the iPad 2 16gb as a gift to my mom since release date and an iPod Touch 32gb 3rd gen.. I used both.. It really depends on your personal preference.
Well iPad is pretty portable too no? I have an iPad 2 and a itouch. I prefer my iPad 2 since its better and gaming is just better on the iPad. I don't have the new iTouch btw =P So obviously the speed on my iPad is way faster XD And for the memory, i have a 32gb model and its enough for me. No music on it, just movies and apps =)

why do u constantly post so much negative things about it? why don't u suggest? i want a case to protect it, or a backing. i dont consider it giant. it looks slim. the ipad 2 has finally caught my attention. this coming form a guy that has never owned an appl product.
You technically don't need a case unless you plan to drop it The back is pretty hard to scratch since it's aluminum.. Just get a sleeve that you can easily pull it out. With any case, your iPad 2 will be giant/thick if you want a full protection. You can always get the Zagg InvisibleShield but I believe it's not worth it. I had it before for my other devices, it just don't feel the same with that stupid piece of plastic on it. Here, get one of these case if you want protection
i have the smart cover it's not a "case" as such, but its good enough to stop the bumps and stuff, and it turns off the screen for u =D although u can get much cheaper alternatives, it's ok since i didn't want a thick case - i settled on a skin for the back (carbon fibre look =P ) and i went with the 32 it's sufficient. its only movies that kill it, and after u watch it - u remove it anyway. so not too much of an issue
I travel a lot and hope to make this my companion. I want a case/cover that can stand as well as protect itself on the go. I'm thinking about the 32GB as well.
