Uma Thurman comedy 'Motherhood' only managed to attract 11 audience members during its opening weekend in the UK, earning just £88. The film, which sees the 'Pulp Fiction' star play a single parent trying to juggle her career with being a mother of two, was released earlier this month. However, the film's bosses were left red-faced after its dismal box office performance – with one screening only attracting a single viewer. Producer Jane Edelbaum said, "You're kidding? We must have broken a new record for grosses! "Think about how much c**p succeeds at the cinema. ‘Motherhood’ is not bad. It's a very decent movie. I've seen movies that are not half as good." ‘Motherhood’ also flopped in the US, where it took just over £40,000 at the box office. It cost around £3 million to make. It’s not the biggest flop of all time, however. The independent Polish movie 'My Nikifor' took £7 on its opening weekend in the UK in 2007. http://uk.movies.yahoo.com/29032010/5/thurman-s-motherhood-earns-88-opening-weekend-0.html
