What would you do, or say if you found out your girlfriend was bulimic or anorexic? I've had a few friends who have turned out bulimic and their boyfriends dumped them straight away. What are your opinions?
If it was me, ill try to help my gf out by supporting her throughout her struggle. Ditching them after finding out a problem is cowardly/ selfish and not what love is all about. If you truly love that person, you would endure the hardship with them. Also, just by ditching the gf at that stage might even trigger other problems such as causing them to have low self esteem.
Oh well, its only 1 guy that replied. Theres like so many other guys here, maybe you both can get the cowardly answers you are looking for.
^ I would run away -lol No, but seriously it shouldn't matter. If you really care about her then you'll try to help her get through it all. The first thing someone like this needs is support and you gotta be there for her.
I would ask her why..... There must be a reason why she do this, maybe the reason is myself... Or she isn't confident with her body maybe.... Running away isn't a option, that would only hurt her feelings, in this period support by the one you loves is important. This is what love is all about....
At least you know that even if you take her to a fancy resturant she will probably only want a glass of water. If she does order something, you could tell her " I don't know, it seems like your getting a little bulge". -evil jk,jk. I think the person should not leave and should try to help her but the best thing to do is to make her see a doctor.
Say if the doctor said she could no longer have children, would you leave her to find another who can?
^^ That's a tough one. It's a great situation if you both do not want to have kids but to be realistic it will be very difficult for her to find someone to stay committed for a long term relationship. Your parents will always want grandchildren in the future and it will be difficult to let them know that its not going to be possible.
