Yess, depending on which tv you have. You need a tv that has the audio outputs in the rear. Most newer tvs not should have them. chek the manual or the back of the tv. If it does have the out puts in the rear, then you just hook up the speakers as you would if you were to hook them up to your computer.

it should match...i dont knwo why........volume comes out from both the TV and the speakers at the same time. maybe you hve to program something on your TV since it is a LCD HDTV which is like top of the line. lol. Its pretty high tech. soo look back in your manual thing. it should say..

Me and my fried Sony HDTV Flatscreen

You can also try to mute the tv or even adjust the surround sound settings of your speakers. I think the best sound would be optical wires or that new wire(not Composite).

Remember to read the manual of your home theathre system before you do something that you don't understand since they are high voltaged. I fried my HDTV's tv board and it never worked since while trying to install my home theatre system. Also you should get one of those surge protectors to protect your investment and try not to connect to many equipment to a single outlet.

TVs usually don't come with any type of surround sound output. Some TVs have HDMI Audio pass through, but few theater systems have HDMI inputs. It's usually just RCA plugs (composite plugs that is labeled "L" in white, and "R" in red). Not worth it IMO unless your Home Theater system has Pro Logic II (it attempts to make surround sound out of stereo inputs) or equiv feature.

you have to go to your home theater setup, and change the tv type to lcd tv/projector (normaly is use standard (direct view tv for normal tv ) and the sount will be fine

i agree with AVANT because the quality cable is expansive ,but most of all new home theater come with Pro Logic II (is a must have feature)
