Wednesday February 06, 2008 Hong Kong TVB's Chinese New Year countdown event was held this evening at the Citywalk shopping mall in Tsuen Wan's Vision City. The show was attended by guests including Leo Ku (古巨基) and Nancy Sit (薛家燕) and hosted by Liza Wang (汪明荃). Other artistes giving performances to welcome the year of the rat included Sammul Chan (陳鍵鋒) and Selena Li (李詩韻). In line with the tradition, the evergreen Wu Fung (胡楓) made a customary appearance as the God of Prosperity. Leo revealed that he will be flying over to America to perform in some new year shows shortly and then he will be heading to Los Angeles, where he has some lessons planned to help him improve his singing ability even further. Nancy said that she will also be flying to America shortly to visit her two daughters who are studying over there. Following her trip, she has thirty stage appearances booked in Singapore, Malaysia, Taiwan and the mainland, so she will be very busy, but will be having a very prosperous new year. Liza was asked about the rumours that there are a further 200 images released on the internet from the recent sex photo scandal and she responded by saying that the hugely inflated rumours are very unethical and for the victims, it is like rubbing salt into the wounds. She added that the person who took these photographs as a kind of reward has some issues and she does not see the attraction of seeing these images. credits: batgwa.

LoL! I hate those, they drag on for ages, but its the thought of a new year that makes these shows so special!
Happy chinese New year.. yeah.. that nite, i did watch this show through TV.... life fr HK.. its happy to watch it... and tis morning, did watch the life again.. tat got lots of the artist fr Wars Of In Laws II.... esp happy to see Bosco lo.. haha.. ~~ Happy Chinese New Year to all PA members ~~
