Hong Kong TVB FaDan Leila Tong, has become more popular with mainland audiences after her tv series and album surfaced in mainland. Especially since the mainland grand production of “The Last Princess” that she acted in has begun to air in many major tv networks in mainland China. In addition to the current upheavals amongst the Tvb artist and because of Leila’s recent performances and promising future, it is no wonder that the media and members in the industry have begun to see her as Charmaine Sheh's successor. Leila right now is busy rehearsing for her stage production. Leila told us that in this stage production her lines are long and hard. She is basically memorizing lines all day; when walking, driving, taking a shower, and she even repeats her lines to her dogs! She hopes that she can hurry up and begin rehearsing without the script. In her stage production Leila will be acting as a party girl in the 1930s call Au Yeung Wen. This stage production is directed by Yu Chan Kau and Joey Leung. It will be playing from December 19th through 21st in Hong Kong’s Sha Tin Town Hall. source: Sina translation by: mars123cc @ http://asianfanatics.net
