just wondering, how is her life interm of acting and singing after the whole sex scandal? does she get more fame(ala paris hilton) or just disapear..
i think cec is so fake. trying to get the public to feel sorry for her. and trying to put all the blame to edison. i would say its their own fault for being so stupid to let him take the pics. especially for Cec, she let him takes pics of her a few time. and thats around the time when she was still dateing her husband.
ppl still go around meeting and dating other guys when you have someone chasing you...the saying, if one's not married, u still go a chance...why not? i m guessing they are doing it as if they were "casual sex", is pretty common in the american culture seriously, is just the asian culture that not many ppl accept that kind of act, there are sex scandles like this in a american culture, and in fact, those ppl get the popularity thru it, more movies and more jobs besides if you know how to store photos, this wouldn't even have happed, ppl "think" the computer is safe or something? :nuts:
Wow.. these videos were really insightful. There's a couple of things in there that I don't really agree with. Cecilia blames Edison for never having apologized to them [female victims] personally, but if Edison really did phone them, would they accept it? Or would it just be, "An apologize is not enough, can you change everything back?" Also, I don't think Edison is capable of removing every picture off the internet; he's in deep waters as well and the most he can do is keep a low profile. But he was a coward in many ways -- I agree. The last video was the most touching. Her family, friends, and her husband are so supportive. For me, her extended family was an ideal.
I understand the asian culture and it won't be good for her. But I was wondering if she have release any new movie or music album after the scandal and how does it sell?
She's just using this interview to make a come back, although some of the stuff she said is agreeable but I'm not buying all the stuff she's saying, blaming everything on edison, whether he's truthful or not, only he knows but she's coming out bashing him and that he's lying, and after all this time, now she comes out and say I'm representing all the female victims, plz... a little too late, huh.
i think the worst victim of all is bobo then comes gillian....I mean celicia didn't lose a husband or been trashed talked all year long. She hid during the incident.
cecilia cheung kept refering to herself and the rest of the women in the scandal as "us girls" while calling edison chen"mr." the other women in the scandal are all fully grown except vincy yeung. cecilia cheung and most of the other women who were hurt most by the scandal doesn't exactly match the word "girl". she's married, she's a mom, and she's legally an adult. why didn't she use "us women" instead? most media who blamed everything on edison chen chooses to use girl to refer to the women while calling on chen to "be a man". in non-asian cultures, if a fully grown man refer to himself as a boy, people laugh. if a fully grown woman refer to herself as a girl, it isn't any different. the host said she doesn't blame the entire incident on chen but the 2nd part of the video make me think otherwise. she is calling chen pretentious but she is just as pretentious. she think the media is giving chen slack, but is he really doing as well as she say he is?

I personally don't have any sympathy for any of the female "victims". All the blame is put on Edison when he 1) Didn't intentionally spread the pictures 2) He didn't take those pictures without their permission. I have to say I feel a little bit sorry for Edison since I don't see him doing anything wrong (except for not being able to use his computer properly). As for Edison being a coward , elaborate please. (I didn't really pay as much attention on this scandal as everyone else and I didn't even see the pictures so sorry if I got some facts wrong).
did anyone hear during the 1st part of the interview, ceci said she already knew the pics will be printed in media the following day... to say the truth..if they had knew, wouldnt they have done everything, money wise, in paying media for not printing the pics? im sure this is possible, a lot of stuff is covered and most of the time the public does not know the truth about everything.. edison family is so rich, eeg is so rich, im sure if they were to pay media money they would accept and have pics returned and not have them printed i think ceci is very fake and wanting pity from us...keeps saying she admits her wrong doing and that she is strong...its wrong for her to blame edison, i dont think he wanted to give up his career for this...he cant just get rid of every pics on internet... what does she mean by no harm given by media, if media didnt print the pics then they wont suffer. its not edison who created the harm, its media...(dont know whats she means when she says that)...edison took those pics with their consent, its not as if its a hidden camera
^sometimes artists get's calls from friends who happen to be reporters telling them, the stories that are already printed. Since, It's already been printed, then it's out of their control.... btw....if you think they could just buy their way out of the scandal......don't you think a lot of ppl could of done so too?.....then what are the magazines for?
seriously, which young couples don't take these photos? many do in fact, there is nothing wrong, however, if you take photos without their permissions or decided to upload the photos online to share it, then that is a criminal offense, the reason why this got so wide-spread is due to the involvement of celebrities and people talking about it...imagine the photos are some random ppl you don't know, would you care that much. if the computer doesn't need fixing, those photos won't even surface and no one would ever know...i have fixed computers a lot too and i have seen people saving up porno photos on the computer (have the intension or not), is not a suprise
