TVB Veteran actor Suen Kwai Hing (孫季卿) has died at the age of 83. Suen, who had an untreated lump on the back of his neck, died on November 30 but his family decided to keep the news quiet. Suen's son confirmed his passing to reporters only on December 7, a day before the funeral was scheduled to be held. He told the media that he wanted to keep the ceremony low-profile so they could focus on funeral arrangements. In an interview with Hong Kong's Apple Daily, fellow actor Yu Chi Ming said he saw Suen a few months before his death. Suen had told Yu that he was feeling fine at the time despite the large lump on his neck. According to the tabloid, Suen had known about the lump but decided not to seek medical treatment. Instead, he chose to cover it up with his hair. Suen has played many roles in iconic Hong Kong dramas, including the 1979 production of Chor Lau Heung. In 2014, he retired after more than 30 years of acting. Actress Shirley Yeung told Hong Kong media that she was saddened by the news, and remembered him as a caring and polite man. Actor Power Chan also said that Suen didn't worry much about his illness, and had an easy-going attitude in life. Another actor, Bobby Au Yeung, shared the news of Suen's death on social media. In his post, he wished Suen a good journey to the after life. Cred: Asiaone
