Starring: Dicky Cheung, Ho Mei Sie, Zhang Ting, Jiang Shu Na, Weng Jia Ming The series starts out quite promising and hilarious. The series is set in the Ching Dynasty. Dicky's mother was told that her son would become famous and bring fame to the family. However, he could not do anything right. Yet he is very cheeky and smart. His mother got him a job as an executor but he could not even do that right. On his way to work, he met up with a girl who was performing kung-fu on the street for money. He got into a misunderstanding with her. Many events happened that later Dicky and the girl met one of the Head Eunuch from the palace and he brought them into the palace to work for him. There, Dicky met his sister (Ho Mei Sie), who was sold to be a servant in the palace. He also met the spoilt Princess and a palace guard who worked for the King and always planning to assassinate the King's mother. Dicky and the girl were trapped in the midst of the struggles for power in the palace. Dicky is great as ever. He makes his character very hilarious. I also like the palace guard, he is also very good in his role. However, the main actress is the annoying factor in the series. She nearly ruins the series for me. The plot of the series reminds me of "The Duke of Mount Deer". There are a few similarities between the two series. Like I said, the series starts out very promising. However, after the first few tapes, the story goes around in a circle, in and out of the palace. Like any Taiwan series, it seems to be infinite, dragging from the mid-series to the end. I have to say that Dicky is the saviour of the series. Without him, it would not worth watching at all. I agree... AWWW!! There's canto and mando audio on this, but neither of tehm were Dicky's voice. So much funnier if it was Dicky's voice. *sigh* But still, it looks fun, I still look forward to watch. ^_^
