Twins Energetic On-Stage; Exhausted Backstage

Yesterday, July 1st, was the 9th Year Anniversary of the return of Hong Kong to China; the HK Stadium arranged for a celebrating function. EEG artistes including Twins, Kenny Kwan, Deep Ng, Vincy Chan, and Sun Boy'z came to the stadium at seven in the morning to prepare. Twins attracted many of the Liberation Army whom were there.

That day, when the first guest performer, who is Mainland's male soprano singer, Chen WenChiang, started performing, the weather had been having light showers, and it hasn't been stopping even until the Chinese Opera performances, but as the EEG singers came out, the rain suddenly stopped. Yet as the EEG group got into their van after performing, it started raining once again; it was extremely weird.

As Twins were performing on-stage, the Liberation Army, who were supposed to be preparing for their marching afterwards, were already taking photos of them with their cameras. When they finished their performance and returned backstage, some of the Liberation Army even went up to ask for photo-taking. Even though they were exhausted after performing, Twins still accepted their requests. But because the roads were soon to be closed, and they had to get on the van to leave, so they could only take a few photos before leaving.

Not being their first time of being performers for the return of HK, Twins were very energetic while performing on-stage, but both expressed that they didn't get enough sleep the night before. Gillian Chung explained that she had been recording for their upcoming Cantonese album until one in the morning the previous night, so she only had three hours of sleep before coming to the performance. In contrast, Charlene Choi didn't have any work to do the night before, yet she had been staying up to watch Argentina's soccer game, so she didn't have much sleep either. She expressed that she's very heartbroken that Argentina lost. Seeing that both Twins' skin colour has darken, they revealed that they had gone to SaiPan Island earlier to shoot photos and MVs for their upcoming Cantonese album. Besides that they are also heading to Malaysia's Genting in August to start their World Tour Concerts. Genting is also only their first stop. Charlene expressed that this is their first time going to such a far place to hold a concert.

Lately, 'Beautiful Cooking' has been quite a popular show, and asking if Twins will have a chance to go as guests? Charlene immediately asked, "Will there be money for it?" When knowing that there won't be, Gillian then asked, "How about prizes?" It was quite amusing. They were then asked if they're afraid to go on, but at first they didn't quite understand what was being asked and expressed that they are able to cook decently. Reporters then continued by expressing that they both should have high scores when being guests because Ronald Cheng and Alex Fong (their rumoured boyfriends) are the hosts. As Charlene heard that, she immediately said, "Oh, bye!"

Charlene also expressed that their company, EEG, is like the return of Hong Kong because everyone sticks together and is peaceful. Even though there are many artistes, but they don't sort themselves into higher or lower levels or assistants. Gillian agreed by saying, "We are family!"
