nearly every carrier will have pay as you go sims
    o2, orange, three, vodafone, t-mobile

best reception is pretty much the same unless you going to some isolated places.... but i personally think o2 has better coverage compared to some.

^ and all 3 of them are the worstttt....!!!...i used to be with virgin and i found myself having
to walk out of buildings to be able to ring anyone to find out where they were...and at that
point i might as well have just ask people to shout on them announcement thingys..>.<

i would say o2 is the best too..!!.....

tonkachi...whut you planning on doing when you come to uk...??...oooOoo and some
companys offer you free sim cards...so if you're coming over for a few weeks...you could
get it for free...!!..or or or i could send you one....i have a few lying around the house as well haha...

^ most companys will sell sim cards but there are also places that'll give you them for free
how long are you going to be in uk for..?..
    biggie companys : O2 / Vodafone / T-mobile / Orange / Virgin
smaller companys: Tesco / Three (which is ubbbbber terrible)

links to get free sim cards :)

    >>O2<<
    >>Vodafone<<

    ^whats wrong with tesco? Oo
o2 is so overpriced, but the free stuff is good if the people ur calling are on o2.
if ur jus coming over for a short business stay just get a Tesco mobile sim,
20p a min and if you top up £10 they give u £10 so basically its 10p a minute
and i think all the network coverage is the same on the networks if ur in a city
btw tesco sim card you get it from the Tesco Store (grocery store)

i'm only going to be there for a week but i may have other co-workers going back to england after me so i may be handing the sim card around so i'm looking for the best company to work with.

thanks for all of the help

well tbh, if thats the case i would just suggest t-mobile or tesco, you can add credit onto the sim cards at almost every corner shop and credit doesnt expire ,
tesco is cheap but doesnt specialise in communications, whereas t-mobile does
