I was curious though, but for all you guys/girls out there. When you get into a relationship, do u always look for a bf/gf that is better (personality, looks, characteristics, physique) than your previous bf/gf? I had a debate with a few of my female friends and they said that I'm too picky with this upgrading standard. I personally believe that you must always look forward, and not backwards. Otherwise, you lose focus of what you want. What is everyone's take on this?
(personality, looks, characteristics, physique) > of course you'd want to look for someone better in at least one of those aspects. because if your previous gf/bf was already all that you wanted, you wouldn't have broken up with her/him.
I believe one should look forward and not backward as well, but I don't see it the way you do. Being in previous relationships helps one fine-tune his/her senses for picking someone so we don't have to date people that won't live up to our standards. So, No, I don't upgrading my standards, I already know what I want (just haven't run into her yet). Every person has their strengths and weaknesses. If i'm attracted to their strengths, and can tolerate their weaknesses, then I'll give it a go. And peachey, my last gf was awesome, she was what I wanted, but our circumstances made it difficult and we had no real choice but to break up.
Upgrading!? I think the only upgrade I'd want would be if she had rocket boots for double jumping n sliding and maybe an upgraded blaster cannon for add firepower!
I don't about upgarding. But all i know that the more you get "g/f" the more you learn the different between their legs ..i mean...Personality.
Throw some extra Ram on her so she can multitask... add a higher processor so she can run faster! ahahaha... right... Yea so you hear people lowering their standards all the time... Lowered Expectations.... -whistle... but you never reall hear people raising their standards... that jus seems a lot hard to keep finding some1 better than the previous... unless the previous person was really terrible... no i try not to compare the 2... coz it's unfair... everyone's different... but it's funny coz wot i loved abt my ex... my current doesn't have... wot i love abt my current... my ex don't have
