Up until now, I've been using my brother's PS3 to play NHL 11. Since i got NHL 12, i plan on using the Online Code as well. But here's the problem: Whenever my brother comes home, he'd take the PS3 back because it's his.. so obviously I let him. That means I won't be able to play on the weekend (which is when I can really game anyways cause weekdays i have schoolwork, so rarely). So I'm thinking about to get another PS3 for myself, so I won't have to share. But here is the problem; I feel its so pointless to get another PS3, cause our family already have one. I know to a degree, he doesn't like me taking his ps3. At the same time i feel so uneasy about always taking his PS3 & also i can feel more "relaxed" if i don't have to share the ps3 (aka get one for myself) and play whenever I want. I'm thinking to get a used PS3 from Kijiji or something, or a refurbished from EBGames. I know refurbished/used is similar but used is cheaper but refurbished at least have 90 day warranty (lol). Or i can wait til X-Mas for a brand new but i don't really wanna spend 200+. If i use the online code for NHL 12 on my brothers, I wont be able to use it again if i plan to get another one. One time use only. Long story short, is it worth it getting another PS3 for myself? If yes, should i get it from Kijiji (like $80-120 for 40/80GB) or EBGames Refurbished (150+tax for 120 GB) or wait til X-Mas deals for brand new? TBH, i dont need no 160GB or 320 GB, but EBGames sells 80gb&120GB refurbished for the same price anyways. Pros & Cons of Used - Cheap, but dunno if they have problems Pros & Cons of Refurb - Moderate pricing, 90 day warranty, but still used Pros & Con of New - Works 100%, 1(?) year warranty, expensive Pros & Cons of None - Save lots of money, but have to share PS3 between brother which i dont get to play if he's home (majority of the weekend) I dont think I'll be able to transfer saves cause its console locked if i begin now on my brothers I dont wanna start over if i do get one.. so yea. Lol. Rant or Science/Technology Section? I dunno.
PS3 bundles were like $199 black friday.. why the hell would you get a used one? no warranty.. and who knows how fast it would crap out. Holiday season they're bound be less that $200
^ So at least the refurbished with 90 day warranty? 150$+tax for 120GB. X-Mas sales is kinda long until I get to play NHL 12 cause i dont wanna restart my process. But i'm not sure if its a good purchase with getting another ps3 for myself. But for sure I know X-Mas will have sales.

I was always a Sony person So I should get on for myself.. But its rather refurb or new. I would get the mw3 then sell it or should I wait til xmas
I dont think the console alone price would drop that significantly.. right? For sure it wont go 200$ for 160 GB. They'll add in some games or controller, but they'll also jack up the price (though it'll still be cheaper if you buy it in the bundle). The MW3 bundle is 250+tax. Future Shop accepts MW3/Skyrim/Uncharted 3 trade in value for 50$ before the 24th. So i'd have 250+tax (which is around 280) - 50 which is 230$ for 160 GB. Edit: Or i can see if i can find a deal on Kijiji if they have the receipt. Which means i have warranty anyways right? Save me the tax.
