Hey guys, I know Valentine's comming up n I was wondering what you guys are going to do. Its a double shot arrow for me, Valentine's on the 14th, then 4 year aniversary on the 20th! Woot for me, no woot for my wallet, but still happy So what are you guys planning to do? I havent thought of anything yet, but I was planning to take my girl back to our old high school for a valentine's dance...I believe that her friends are going also as a reunion. Then for our aniversary...I'm planning to take her to the Cheese Cake Factory and shop because 17-20 is President's day weekend...and there should be alot of sales ^^

the joy of valentine another unless holiday to get ppl to buy merchandise if u love someone, u dont need a day to celebrate jsut celebrate when u like or give out a surprise is better
I agree better keep the money for better us dont give it to the seller to make profit as everything the price shot up especially flowers.
nothing special.. just a normal dinner at one of the best restaurant. both of us dislike candle light dinner coz of bad experience.
you're lucky... my wedding anniversary is 15th Feb! Somehow, I have still not been able to persuade my wife to ignore Valentine's and celebrate only on our anniversary when everything is cheaper! -rolleyes
It's suppose to be a thoughtful day, not a money spending day. Taking the time out and planning a nice picnic is more than enough. If you know there's something you know she wants to do but haven't done yet (such as ice skating, salsa dancing, or other little stuff like that), even better. You'll get so much farther than buying flowers and chocolate and a nice dinner like everyone else in the world does.
thats wot u think, ppl ususally spend loads on boozin or smokin but in my case its on my gf, man if she keeps this up im considerin jumpin off the nearest cliff glad u guys dont hve this problem -lol if u c this headline in tomoz newspaper, "ASIAN DUDE JUMPS OFF CLIFF", u will no its me -lol
