    Well, I recently found out that if you use WinAVI and select the VCD option, it can actually split the file for you automatically. All you have to do is select the max file size (in MB, not time), and then once - during encoding - it reaches that max, it will autmoatically generate a second segment (file).

    You can get WinAVI from www.torrentspy.com.

    yes there are options to split parts equally... but if he wants to split different parts then he need a video splitter program.

    hey i think nero recode works...it splits videos into parts...(i think that's the software i used last time to split my videos into parts i want)

    You got what you need I use easy spilter to split my video it support almost all the file if you want let me know
