noooooooooo u brought the storm back in my face T.T if it wasn't for Verizon... I'd jump on it... w/o regret... it's a sick fone for sure, just cdma and verizon garbage.. :(
so apparently, it's only available on telus and bell, just like how the bold is only available on rogers and fido.
^their excuse is cuz since the Storm will run on both their envo system and edge, there wont' be a need... i agree to an extent that'll work out, but just sometimes, like when i'm working in the basement levels on campus, i don't get reception down there, but i do get wifi... so meh =/
Got the Storm from Vodafone UK. The menu is bit slow in campare to the iphone. No WiFi is is not such a problem for me because I got a very good GPRS/3G coverage. The only negative thing is the battery life. With 3G turned on, the battery will last like less than half day (if u actually use the phone).
I used it for about 3 hours today. I wasn't blown away. It is trying too hard to get to a market that wasn't associated with RIM. What defines a BlackBerry is the QWERTY keypad. Now that they've lost that, it's just another phone with a BlackBerry OS. thumbs down for me. iPhone is overhyped. The Storm is pretending to be something it wasn't meant to be.
