Tuesday June 3, 2008 Japan American movie studio Vertigo Entertainment is apparently working on a remake of the popular franchise "Death Note," which has been turned into three live-action films in Japan. The news was quietly revealed in production notes for the horror films "Shutter" and "The Strangers." According to the notes, Vlas and Charles Parlapanides have been tapped to pen the screenplay. They are currently writing for the upcoming TV series "Undercover" on The CW. No other details have been revealed at this point. credits: tokyograph.
^^I watched Death Note 1 was kinda bored of it didn't watch 2 or 3... Hopefully it will be good but the us version will prob fail... we will see what happens.
lol a remake? lol why cant the US just watch it wih subs or dubs, or they want a Deathnote with American Actors ,
Vertigo just guna mess the film up like...why do it?? but still interestin to see how this version will turn up
"L change the world" DVD is coming soon. So, i rather get that one than the remark of the original death note's movie
