i have no clue how to check my psu but dammnn.. every game i enter now , my mouse & keyboard freezes. when i first got it, it ran fine for a year or two and now it freezes everytime i get in the game. the game will still be loaded just fine but my mouse & keyboard freezes wsup with that? -_-" -edited- specs:
I wouldn't link jump to the conclusion of hardware problems from games freezing. It's not a likely symptom of hardware. It's probably a problem of drivers, mal/adware or something else.
i doubt it's a adware/spyware x_x because even when it's reformated it still happens.. and the game doesn't freeze it looks perfectly fine, expect that my keyboard & mouse freezes.
I see, I misread. Now I see why you suspect the PSU. What did you change recently that could have taken a greater toll at higher loads? And you can get some info on the PSU's voltages in the bios or using Motherboard monitor even though I'm not sure how helpful that info would be. This is an interesting guide on an overclocking forum about PSUs you might want to look at: http://forums.extremeoverclocking.com/showthread.php?t=137886 Without being there, it's hard to diagnose computer problems plus I don't have the in depth technical knowledge, only minor bits of interest.
nothing its been happening for awhile.. now it got worst.. everytime i get into the game. both mouse & keyboard freezes right away, i even tried lowering the quality and everything of the game. and when i first got my computer i played the exact same game. it ran smoothly.. hmm is it that my psu overheats? i've kept my computer off for awhile tho, yet it still does it. so yeah i wanna get this fixed. do you reccomend me to buy a new psu or perphaps a new video card? oh i forgot.. my video card driver is also uptodate soo... know anything? >.< -edited- just figured out where my psu info is.
