Video editing - what programs to use?

    Hey guys, you seen them clips people put up where they can get a video and cut it and re-paste it to get people to say funny things, like this:

    Dont say windows movie maker, its a bunch of crap, most of the crap out there lets you cut stuff up and reorganise it but it causes like 1 second breaks between each transition which is very bad.

    Same here .... Premiere Elements though, the Pro one has a bit too many options for me.
