i've gotten a new compter lately, and i got wireless-g WMP54G adapter. due to vistaof always having an "issue caused when Windows polls for new wireless networks, causing a huge spike in latency and 100% for for a 2 - 5 second period every minute, on the minute" basically i googled this problem, and its pretty common, but there's no real source to fixing it http://www.geekzone.co.nz/forums.asp?ForumId=9&TopicId=15339 http://forums.worldofwarcraft.com/thread.html?topicId=2366570169&sid=1 i dont relaly unstand what they are saying tho so any further explanation or ideas would own, thanks!
I have this problem too. Every couple of minutes, I get the smallest of lags, and every 10 minutes I just get like a 2 second lag. It's annoying, But I hardly play games anymore.
i fixed this problem by using my pc that is cabled and using xp. but yeah.. its pretty bad when im playing wc3 :(
i lag in every game i play...im only using wireless because im using others bandwidth instead of mine lol
pc that is cabled and using xp? so ur using windows xp isntead of vista? :\ i dont really wanna downgrade, i like vista, aside for this issue i dont find anything else thats wrong w/ it
