Vivian Chow and Kevin Cheng went along with "World Vision" to visit a village in Northern Vietnam. They were there for 4 days to see the children who have been sponsored. When they saw the children looking so malnourished, they fried eggs for them for lunch. Vivian and Kevin also visited a children's boarding school and the kindergarten. They played games and drew pictures with them too. Vivian has always shown an interest in the needs of the poor children around the world. This is her first time visiting Tung Tung, the child she sponsored. Tung Tung came from a very poor family, her parents are split up. Her grandparents have to go out to work, and they have little time for her. There are not enough food supply at home too, and Tung Tung often goes without a full meal. When Vivian heard Tung Tung story, she was heart broken. She wanted to be Tung Tung's second mother so that she could take care of her and watch her growing up healthy. Vivian brought along a jacket, some stationaries, a school bag and some hair accessories for Tung Tung as a greeting gift. Kevin, however has been sponsoring some children with "World Vision" for several years now. He felt this is a rare opportunity for him to visit his sponsored son Ah Ngai and daughter Ah Ming and to find out what their needs are. He brought some toys and a football for the children. Kevin said although Ah Ngai is very young, he is very matured for his age. He is keen to learn and works very hard to support the family. Kevin was deeply moved. Source:MingPao Translator: R.E.D @ AVN
