Vivian Chow believes Joe Nieh is the right choice for her Vivian Chow returned to work on Jan 13 after tabloid saga and her marriage. She said in an interview that she is sure Joe Nieh is the right man for her and "believes that he can bring her happiness." She also described her husband to be a blessed man. Chow made her appearance in a black tube dress and black boots at a brand's flagship opening ceremony as special guest. Throughout the process, she nodded and smiled in acknowledgement of her fans and completed the ceremony professionally; however, there was no trail of wedding bliss on her face and there was no beaming joy in her eyes. She was not wearing the 'legendary' wedding ring which was purchased online; in place was a diamond ring presented by a sponsor. Despite rumors that Chow had set six ground rules for the interview sessions that day - she will only take print media interview and each interview is limited to five minutes - she professionally took on all questions which came her way and did not pose any restrictions to the questions asked, seemingly to have went prepared. With regards to Nieh being titled "shameless man" by the media, Chow said, "My husband is a blessed man." She also denied and appeared agitated over Taiwanese lyricist Liang Hongbin who told media that this is the second time Chow had to face off with Nieh's affair, and said she will not hesitate to take legal actions if the comments were defamatory. When asked if she is sympathetic towards Zhang, she said, "At this point in time, encouraging words will only be mistaken by others. I will thus not make any special remarks." While many think of her wedding as "shabby", Chow said that was her ideal wedding. "Everyone has different values. Happiness should not be taken as equivalent to monetary or material terms. Happiness can be very simple. I find a home wedding very appropriate and comfortable." She also expressed thanks to her husband who agreed to her simple wedding arrangements. Chow also denied rumors on her pregnancy. She said she will shove aside plans for concerts and work hard at being "Mrs. Nieh". Her decision to marry Nieh, who cheated on her, made the public doubt if she had married a man worthy of her. Chow reemphasized that she firmly believes in her choice and hope everyone can give their blessing. Chow said she will not put the negative comments at heart and claimed that she can now "better appreciate and understand unconditional love". "2009 is a brand new beginning; I hope everyone will welcome new life with joy," she added. After the interview, Chow returned immediately to her home at San Francisco Towers. On the other side, the Hong Kong media has yet to seen Zhang return to the City University of Hong Kong for her examinations.
