Any Volvo drivers in here? What do you think about the brand?? Why would you prefer it over a beamer, a lexus or an infinity g35?? I'm thinking about purchasing an S40 in Sept., but I wanna hear others opinions. I think beamers are too common, every single guy who drives would like to own a beamer. What's the fun in owning a car that everybody else owns??
Sorry to knock on the volvos, but it appears that in the US, all volvo drivers are bad drivers. It's something about the car that makes them that way. Just my observation. That said, although volvos made quite a few style changes, I'm still not feeling it. I wouldn't choose bmw, lexus, or infinity. Quite obviously, I chose audi, which was, in my opinion, not the best option. I would've preferred getting an acura.
I love the way the new S40 looks. And the fuel economy is excellent. There aren't to many Volvo drivers here in Los Angeles that I would be able to make an opinion on if they are bad drivers are not. I guess the Acura TSX and Audi A3 would be other cars in the same category as the S40. But if you prefer anonymity, the S40 wins hands down.
