Wane Lai difficult TV King competition, doesn't dare to prepare acceptance speech beforehand

Yesterday a press conference was held at TVB City to announce the nomination list for the TVB 43rd Anniversary Awards scheduled to take place next month, December 5th. However, many of the popular picks for TV King and Queen like Moses Chan, Raymond Lam, Charmaine Sheh and Sheren Tang all were absent from the press conference. Wayne Lai showed off his TV King style live on the spot, expressing the different characteristics of the TV King and Queen candidates.

Regarding TV King, Wayne said: "This year it's not mines! There are so many opponents, what are you all saying! It's a very lively atmosphere this year." Wayne said that Raymond Lam is part of the idol and ability group, has lots of audience fate and strong momentum. He said: "Having support from the audience is a favourable condition. (Raymond has Boss Mona Fong's support, is he a strong opponent?) Of course it is important to have support from the boss, but there has to be other factors that balances out. If not, then last year Sheren Tang and I wouldn't have won!" Wayne also said that Moses Chan's comedy series are well accepted by audience: "I really like his acting style when I collaborated with him in series. (He and Raymond are bleeding TVB's blood!) I am the northern beggar, we are considered as the homeless boys. (That's why many people support you!) Well have to get through the competition first!" Then Wayne said Steven Ma is the representative for the scholars group, this year he took over that genre. Frankly speaking, the awards ceremony is going to be a lot of fun.

As for his pick on TV Queen, Wayne says that would be between Sheren Tang, Charmaine Sheh and Tavia Yeung. Asked if Wayne has prepared his acceptance speech for this year? He joked: "It's because for many years I've been eating 'white fruit' (got nothing), so last year I prepared one, this year I'm not daring, there will be surprises. (Do you need Raymond Lam to donate some blood to you?) So bad! I really love him, he's so intimate." Also, Louis Yeun already prepared for defeat and expressed that because he's going to be busy holding the Fook Luk Sau concert, he will be unable to attend the awards ceremony. Asked if he's bleeding TVB's blood, the Wayne standing next to him teased: "You are sweating TVB's urine!"

Felix Wong is nominated for Best Actor for his role in Gun Metal grey. he expressed that the series receiving public praises has already won everything, but he knows the rules of the game. "Standing in the entertainment circle, we all know what the situation is like, what the circumstances are like. (Are you talking about TVB's blood?) I am the actual TVB biological son! But I got fur and wings, so I flew out!" Felix also said based on the situation in the market, he will support Wayne, but joked that he has a strong opponent Moses Chan.

Also, a Neitzen started a poll on Weibo for the TVB King and Queen awards. So far. for TV King Raymond Lam is leading with Wayne Lai following behind in second. For TV Queen, Sheren Tang is leading with Charmaine Sheh following closely behind in second.

I prefer someone who has not actually won to win...but somehow I think it will be Wayne or Moses this year!

That's not fairly legit then is it. Maybe because he has the looks (?) and/or is younger so it is more appealing to the youngsters. Who knows man, on time will tell. May the best one win.

 

Felix wong got my vote. Veterans all the way. However, it wouldnt be fair if he wins because he "flew away" and made a sudden comeback. STill a big fan of his wherever he goes..........
