before we get things fixed, if you want a Non motion avatar up send it to me and ill shrink it down to the required size and send you a Link for it.

Just upload one of your favourite image on one of this image hosters:

- www.imageshack.us
- www.imagehigh.com

Then you will see some links, copy the thrambnail one.

After that go to the left corner & click "User CP" then "Edit Avatar" at the left

paste it on your avatar section the part says "URL" or just upload a small pics that the parts says upload...

then u are done with your coolest image as your ava. pic! -rockon

 

I also recommend using http://www.photobucket.com/

 

Problem Uploading Avatar...

Earlier, I was trying to upload a gif for my avatar, but I received this error:

Warning: getimagesize(): Read error! in /includes/class_image.php on line 1615

It says that the maximum size for a custom image is 200 by 200 pixels or 588.9 KB (whichever is smaller). My gif is only 71 by 83 pixels and 89 KB, so why is it unable to load?

I uploaded the same gif file a couple of days ago, and it was working fine. Today I made some minor changes to the file and tried uploading it again, but it didn't work.

Do any of the mods have any idea what the problem is? :(

the gif moves and switches images, while the jpeg doesn't.

Unless the mods changed their minds and decided to take out the gif option?

 

ya...cause dimsum's avatar used to move and now it doesn't..so i gues no animated avatar

 

ROFL! you cant have a animated JPEG, they only images that can be animated are GIFs...animated GIFS..dont even try converting it

okay, this is really strange... either that or you need to get some glasses. lol

 

they animated were actually only suppose to be for vip, guess it went wacko after host change
