It’s been announced that one of AKB48’s most popular members, Watanabe Mayu (or Mayuyu), will be holding a handshake event to celebrate the launch of AKB48 Official Shop Taiwan! The Official Shop is a specialty store that exclusively sells AKB48 goods. The Taiwan branch (there’s also one in Hong Kong) will be opening on June 12th, and on that day, 500 lucky fans will have the chance to shake hands with Mayuyu. To participate in the draw for a handshake ticket, you must register as a member on the Official Shop website.
