Popular idol group AKB48’s sub-unit, Watarirouka Hashiritai, along with actor Tamaki Hiroshi, have recently finished filming their appearance in a new commercial for the laptop, “LaVie L”. The members of Watarirouka Hashiritai, dressed as weather girls, will not only present the laptop, but also explain its ability to be used for four different functions, including digital broadcasting and a Blu-Ray recorder, in the form of a weather forecast. There will be two versions of the commercial – “4 in 1″ and “No antenna cable needed”. In the “4 in 1″ version, the product is introduced using weather forecast vocabulary to describe the functions. However, because these words are not used in everyday life, there were some confusing moments during the filming. Even so, the members worked hard over and over to conquer the vocabulary without giving up. In the “No antenna cable needed” version, the members go to watch TV, and Watanabe Mayu trips over the TV cable as she runs toward them holding the PC, implying the ease and usefulness of the wireless digital broadcast feature. In order to show off how scratch-resistant the computer is, the cat-eared “Neko Mayuyu” will also make an appearance, and it’s expected that this charming character will also be sure to draw attention.
