Watch Tv On Your Computer

    Do you guys know any site which you can watch stream tv on your computer? Like something from Hong Kong.. hmm TVB? Lol.. I've found some sites but they don't work and for the ones that works it has crappy channels.. thanks =D

    hrm.. in order to do that you need to download some programs.. i believe one of the programs is called PPLive and its pretty popular.. although you have to tune to the right channel to watch TVB and stuff.. - i've heard a lot about it.. but i have yet to try it out myself.. so try it at your own risk i guess or ask other experienced users for their opinion :p
     
  3. in my experience the channels are usually crap but ive not yet used a program. better to just dload your best programs if u can.

    I heard of a program called "TVAnts" but i've tried it and it never worked for me :(

    there are quite a few but they never work on me.. so i gave up.. haha

    pplive blows & lags -.- and most shows are in mandarin.
     
  11. sopcast.com keep in mind most of these programs work like a p2p program which requires u to use your upload speed in order to help other people stream too so u need to reserve your upload speed in order to watch without buffer.

    What you can do is buy a TV tuner card. This is basically an add on that goes into your PCI slots that comes with a Jack that allows you to hook up a cable/satellite box directly to your computer. Using it is free but it costs about $20 each. Using the card, will transform your computer into a TV, allowing you to channel surf and what not. Best of all, it doesn't tie up your connection.

    ^ I think the op mean that they want to watch channels that they don't have on their cable plans lol and stream it, i have the tv tuner feature and i never use it cause i have a tv next to my computer lols...
