Anyone know how to get wavy looking hair like this? Or do you think it's natural? Any tips would be appriciated :] Whenever I try to wave it, it just goes curly, or doesn't look natural. :riaa:
it is possible for it to be that wavy naturally, like my hair, very annoying straightening it all the time. but if ur hair isn't wavy naturally, then a curling iron should do it, and ive seen someone do it with a straightener
after you wash your hair, you can tie it in a bun.. you can probably take it out when it's almost dry. see if that works
Thanks guys. Been a while since I posted this thread, my hair is a lot longer now so it kinda waves on it's own if I don't hair dry it, but it tends to be a bit frizzy that way... Anyone use any good products for wavy hair to stop it from frizzing?
lol very true. My hair is naturally straight, so one time, I decided I wanted something different so I got a wavy perm. Once it was wavy, I wanted it straight again. :laugh2: Nowadays, I just leave it straight and use rollers whenever I'm in the mood for waves. It's a lot easier to manage. If you have waves, I recommend using a diffuser to blowdry your hair, since it helps decrease frizziness.
Yea she does, but the effect wears off eventually and even after having them done, she still needs to fix (straighten) her hair in the morning... The only differences is that she can skip the ironing step
The bun idea works. I usually do it after a shower and wrap the hair around itself. Not too many twists or else it'll look too frizzy. You can also use a curler where you wrap the hair around the curler perpendicularly so that the curler doesn't move and you just hold the hair there for a few seconds and let go.
A straightener would do the job. It'll look more curly when you just finished but after an hour or so it'll look just like the picture.
She did the "lai jik"stuff at the hairdresser n its not helping =/? i mean my friend did it n its like super stick straight.... r u sure she got a treatment n not just ironed by the hairdresser btw, bun never gets me the effect I want... I just have a iron where u can change head with dif sizes for dif curls... it super handy
Sounds good, what iron is that? I tried the bun, loosely, and it was a bit curly rather than wavey, and little frizzy :( My hair is probably totally different though! Sometimes my hair waves on it's own when I get out of the shower, but it's very tempremental -down
I have this one... its quite good....its from rowenta called "STYLE8 IMAGIN MULTISTYLER ELITE" dunno the price... but its a straightener n curling iron in one... it has like 8 dif styles... anyway, remember to use some heat protection spray or gel before u use ur curling iron
Yeah I used some heat protection when straightening with my GHD's, which are really good straighteners, but those look pretty damn awesome. I'll have to look me up a pair of those -detect
