Wayne Lai (黎耀祥) invited Edwin Siu (蕭正楠), Raymond Cho (曹永廉), Power Chan (陳國邦), Raymond Wong (黃浩然), and Nancy Wu (胡定欣) to a home-cooked dinner to celebrate the Lunar New Year. Becoming good friends after 2012’s The Confidant <大太監>, the cast is reunited for new TVB drama, Eunuchs Leave the Palace <公公出宮>.

Wayne’s wife, Julia, spent hours in the kitchen to make many delicious dishes for the guests. Joining in on the fun were the men’s girlfriends and wives, including Priscilla Wong (黃翠如) and Mimi Lo (羅敏莊).

While Raymond Cho often teased Edwin and Priscilla, Wayne did not pressure the couple about marriage. Wayne laughed, “Edwin is an adult now; he can think for himself.”

However, Priscilla’s love for children became apparent when she spent the majority of the night playing with Raymond Wong’s sons. Priscilla said, “I think children are so cute. I do [want children] after seeing Raymond’s sons and Mimi’s daughter. [Raising children] is very selfless. It’ll require extensive thinking first and right now, I want to focus on work.”

Adding on to his girlfriend’s comment about delaying marriage and children until she is ready, Edwin joked, “Maybe this is not the right time and luck is not on my side. I’ll have to wait another few years first. Raymond and Power’s fatherly love seem very special. It’s definitely not easy. Raising children takes a lot of energy.”
