    theres a steakhouse here, where it costs about $200aud for a single serving of steak!

    wen ur paying that much, it better b good!! lol

    its psychological...coz you paying more for something you think in ya mind that its going to be better

    and and its a way of justifying something that is expensive...

    its all in your brain and how you perceive things...if you perceive them as good and expensive then you'll think they are good

    this is because many ppl can't rele tell the difference in the wine so therefore its more psychological than actual tasting. ppl who can actually tell the difference can't tell which wine is better better a cheap wine and an expensive one if they were given the wine randomly. thats the best way to taste wine i think just not get told of the price and then decide by the actual tasting so that ur opinion is not shrouded.

    i'm not sure if this research actually proves that people would necessarily prefer the more expensive item in real life. it seems like this study forces people to choose A or B, and usually, when you are told to choose something, you choose something, even when things are about the same. it makes sense that the more expensive one is a natural choice. now perhaps if they asked the subjects, "which wine would you buy?", then i would believe this study a bit more.
