ok, so to me i think ppl should be dating around high school years like 16!! or 17!!! Cause, now a days, kids be goin out at the age 12? Thats pretty annoying. Seriously, kids at the age of 12 already having "love" problems, that is like so stupid because they're not gonna last long and they're always feeling sad and using these corny lines like "I want to break free, but i cant. I think i'm trapped in your heart forever" AHH GOOSEBUMPS... this girl i know, shes in 5th grade and she was thinking about suicide becasue her "boyfriend" dumped her..-.- Ok, if i offended some ppl that are 12 and dating " Kill me xD but for now -tongue2

I think they're just acting out what they see on t.v. and such so you can't really blame them for being impressionable; their brains are still developing. If yah really wanna hate, hate on scociety and the people that only care about ratings. Yup.
I agree with what you've said, although I wouldn't entirely blame everything on the media. There are many causes as to why preteens/teens behave the way they do, and the media is just one of them. Obviously, the way they are raised and brought up also contributes to their actions and behaviors. If the media is so influential, then why are some kids more well behaved than others, granted that they are all exposed to the same content? You have to know that you shouldn't copy everything you see on T.V. Most of it depends on the individual him/herself, really. And then there's also parential guidance/discipline.
Yeah... tweens now are stupid... I think 18+... if something happens to you... hey, at least it's not your parents problem now... Eh and you're at least a little more mature...
I agree. For me, the ideal dating age would be after high school. I find that college guys are usually more mature and cooler to interact with anyway.
