This morning, while walking to the post office, I was 'hit' by two blobs of bird shit on my left shoulder! Was I lucky or not? What got me was...it was on my new jacket. This is the first time I've been hit by a bird..the flying kind. So...I'm going to buy the lottery today and it's a sign of a good Chinese New Year... May you all have a Prosperous New Year.
lol i got hit like once in my life, walking with new shirt but shit hit my forehead and no i didn't win shit.
Well shoulder is one thing....if its on top of your head then....thats more luck isnt it. You should leave the bird poop on until the lottery draw is over... (i just made that up)
lol you go and buy a lottery ticket and think about luck...if that happened to me i would go get that cleaned asap
Naw, hitting on the top of head isn't that lucky; for super luck, it's gotta hit you right between the eyes
i got hit twice in my life. don't know how it has to be me cause i remember i was with other people at the time. o well. now what are the chances of hitting a bird... one time i was riding my motorcycle on the freeway and i hit a bird with my helmet. good thing it didn't knock me off or i would of been in a bad accident. seen the bird gliding towards my way from right to left. i was like this thing is flying kinda low so i tucked down and hoped i would miss me. it glided more towards my left so i thought i would be good but then it went right again and i smacked it and knocked my head back. looked back and don't know where the bird went. i thought it blew up.
it depends on the area but out in the blue, the chances are so minimal. I would buy a lotto ticket the next time it happens .
This immediately reminded me of this: http://what-if.xkcd.com/11/ I have never been hit ever so I think the chances of being hit are extremely low .. but I'm always paranoid about it :( it's horrible ...
I have been by a bird. Some times you walk near a nest you know that's there and the bird thinks you're aggressive and flys into you.
What I find 'suspicious' is that I park in a private indoor garage; I can leave a perfectly clean vehicle in the evening, come back the next day and still wind up discovering new bird shit on my car, LOL... I think pigeons sometimes get in with the automatic gate staying open a little bit too long and then they roost on the pipes near the ceiling.
