My old netgear router MR314 is a champ could handle thousands of simul connections, only problem was that it would give the BT stuff priority and wouldn't be able to websurf anymore when there are that many connections.

Now I am using a DLink DI-524 Rev. D1. This is by far the biggest POS router I've ever used in my life. It requires multiple reboots a day just to keep functioning and can't handle more than a small handful of connection -censored But it does have 802.11g which is a necessity now.

Heard the new netgears have very poor firmware which requires numerous reboots, so I've been avoiding that route. I was looking at the new belkins, but don't know if they can handle the load.

Anyone's feedback would be great, but Bitcomet users (that have DHT network enabled) would be extra helpful.

So what routers are everyone using with success?

Umm im using a ISP branded one.

    Its a BT Voyager 2091

Has wireless, one ethernet and one usb connectors

Never had any real problems with it, gets a little hot, and it disconnects but rarely when theres an incoming phone call -shrug

Once i allowed port forwarding on the router bitcomet runs fast and smooth

ah router.. i thought u meant modem. im on a linksys . I'd recommend linksys, cisco, or dlink. I wouldn't go with those unknown brands like dynex and le blanc.

for u uber techs. my modem is a Surfboard Dok 2 , cracked modem. amazing speed

i've had experience with em all...currently, i'm using a few linksys with speedboster and aps in one and a couple running linux and one running a few other hacks...i'd say for the techie in u..go with any of the linksys wrts...they are highly hackable and u can get so much out of them....one of them i have handles alota traffic..esp with remote net admin etc...for ordinary..it will work along with dlink and netgear...if u really want highend shit..go with cisco...they work really well when it comes to security and remote mamagement et c..but they come at a price....so not for the average user...linksys has my vote..just because u can tweak the bastard to get alot more out of it..and..there are alot of resources and guides out there on how to do it..
