    no new games, but Grand Turismo 4, Metal Gear Solid 1(psone), 2 and 3 are a must and the grand theft auto series too

    Final Fantasy series is good if u like rpg , metal gear solid (1 person shooter game), kingdom hearts

    For action rpg I liked Dororo. I think the name for the English version is Blood Will Tell. It's a pretty good game.

    If u like Robot fighting just like anime, I'm suggesting you Super Robot Wars series. But it's in japanese languages only. Try it, b'coz that game is one of the best game in Japan and Asia region...

    god of war 2 is the best game iv ever played for PS2 by far.


    Final fantasy X is also one of the best games i've ever played as well

    i don't know best of but out of the games i have here are some must plays and recommendations:

    Final Fantasy X and 12
    Devil May Cry 1 and 3 (must play these, don't think there would be God of War/ Ninja Gaiden w/o DMC)
    GTA series
    Onimusha series
    Gran Turismo
    Metal Gear
    Resident Evil 4
    Champions of Norrath
    Ratchet and Clank 2 (was hesitant to try this, but i understand why it became a platform/action franchise)
    Red Faction 1 and 2 (PS2's halo imo)
    Tekken series
    Dynasty Warriors 4 (doubt you'll want to play more than one)
