Well in about 6 days i'll be outa Aus and shall going to HK but the thing is that my parents decided to take the Viva Macau airline (which if anyone doesnt know, is a budget airline) With the dodgy exchange rate, i think i can survive on a plane with practically nothing besides a seat so i can spend more in HK. So theres no screen thingo at the back of the seat where you can watch movies and play games etc, i will be bringing my laptop which will last me about 1 and a 1/2 hours.. anyone recommend anything for me to do during my trip that wont leave me bored shitless for 9 hours lol? -rockon
pop a few sleeping pills so you'll be zonked out for a while hahaha....-lol... take a book to read.? oh wait do budget airlines have lights right...?!?.. play DS / PSP
LOL... only nine hours to HK? Try flying direct from New York, it's almost twice as long. And sleep is the key. If you don't want to pay for the booze, buy a bottle of Benadryl before getting on the plane. It's non narcotic and some people swear by them.
you are complaining over 9 hours?! im so with ralph on this...... i flew from boston, Massachusetts to san fran to connect to a flight over to hk that took like 20 hours ......
not much u can do if theres no enterainment on board.... id try to slp n as bb said play ds... ur laptop battery can probably entertain u for a few hours.... but yea....i stilll think sleeping is the best cuz it makes time pass by faster
OR....... you can search for some hotties and strike up a conversation..... definitely worked out for me cause i was kinda sitting next to one..... played cards with the rest of her siblings/cousins and chatted but that was rather lucky for me....
Laptop - 2 hours Nintendo DS or PSP - 2-3 Hours possibly depending on how many games you got pirated Magazines (pick up Top Gear magazine or Super Street) - 1 hour Book - 1-2 Hours Sleep and tunes - 2-3 hours you'll get through 9 hours no problem, If you can sleep then the time will just fly by. Freakin 13 hours from LA to Beijing was terrible for me cuz i cannot sleep sitting up no matter how hard i try.
even with the little telly my usual regime is watch 30mins-1hour of something, then sleep for the 10+ hours left
sleep or find a really good book and read it for most of the flight. or get a psp or ds and load some games on that will keep you entertained for a long time.
like everyone else already said, sleep, music, ds 9 hours is not as bad as my 13 hour flights from Vancouver to HK =.=
