Use to be sony lol until i broke like 4 pairs of sony headphones in a year,a tv and a vaio computer in 1 1/2 years, the only brand that haven't really failed me so far would have to be philips and probably toshiba even though i don't own that many of their products.

sony's pretty good brand for me... but don't really hav that many electronics.... with phones the older type nokia's are pretty sturdy!! ie 3120, 3100, etc...
and the quality of some of the new electronic products doesn't seem to be as good as the old!!

It depends on wha type of electronics as there is no one most trusted brand. Usually there's a few brands that are really well known for a specific type of electronic device. For example with TVs, I have a Sony (10+ year old) and a Hitachi (18-19 years old) and an RCA died in 3 years. For laptops, I tend to trust big companies like HP/Compaq and Dell. For MP3 players, it's either Apple or Creative.

Sony! I purchased most of my electronics with SONY as the manufacturer.

Hmmm... When it comes to earphones I think Sony or Philips is my best choice.

For stuff like mp4 players, i like Duraplus. iPod rpcks too.

^ Really? Are you sure? They're devilishly expensive, them iPods. I heard they're pretty flimsy. Any first hand experience?

I had one of those older 20GB iPods and by the end of 1 year my battery life was at a max of 2 hours or so. Then it broke after, and I couldn't even fix it..

Broke it as in half?? That is flimsy! But most in-built batteries have a life expectancy of about 1 year - 1 1/2 years. My Duraplus lasted about 2 1/2 hears though, even through daily usage. My most trusted brand when it comes to players of this sort.

Lol not in half... There was somthing wrong with the ipod internally. It couldn't be read by iTunes, and I couldn't get to the menu anymore..

Then you should send it back to the factories or headquarters to get it checked. they owe it to you since those things are't cheap. My Duraplus only took a week's trip up and down from the factory for a complete checkover and changing the batteries. They call you when it's back too.

Yeh haha sony is the way to go... tho they can be either way too expensive or just behind in some stuff like MP3's but they always are unique having something that others generally dont^^

Mostly Philips for their excellent customer service in case anything by them ever needs repairing and for the smaller items like camcorder and batteries Sony. Camera electronics Canon and Olympus at the moment. Computers...nameless stuff after having had a Compaq. IIyama for the TFT screen. Cowon mp3 player and if the current one is broken I'm most probably going to buy another Cowon mp3 player. Nokia for the cellphones, although I may switch brand if my current one needs to be replaced.
