For many people, after they start dating someone, they wait to see if the relationship is going to be a long term one before they tell people. How long do you wait? Are there certain people you might tell sooner or later?
Hmm, I personally don't do that. I tell my closest friends first that I'm dating someone. Other people that I'm not that close with, I don't really tell them unless they ask me or bring up the topic or if they see me with my g/f.
Well i'm the type to talk about a potential relationship with most of my close friends, so they would know if something long term happened. With others, I don't really tell them, they can find out themselves.
^^ Yeah, and they don't have to guess behind your back haha I had ppl asking all the time "omg are they together" etc etc even though me and that girl were just really close friends...almost like brothers and sisters hah...

nah what she means is when do you tell OTHER people that you're in a relationship with another person

Well the question came up, because I was asking this different, but similar question to some friends. What would happen if two of your friends were dating, but didn't tell you about it, even if you asked them and both people were like "i'd be mad, cause they have been lying to me" one of them even said "it's like your playing them, messing with their mind, by playing tricks on them"
My closest friends I will tell immediately... or I'll show it them or something like that... The others... if they ask me... I'll answer the truth... and if they see it... it's clear enough I guess haha
same as xdly.... dont feel like screaming out loud that im seeing someone... no need they will find out at some point anyways hehe as for my parents tell em when its really serious after a longer period....
who else needs to rele know anyway. u shouldn't need to make an effect to tell ppl. tell them only when they ask otherwise it may seem like ur boasting and tbh i don't think they usually care anyway.
trust me if ur asian...ppl do care.... everyones gonna be like oooh who is he? what does he do? wheres he from? etc etc.... so annoyin sometimes...
