When I asked her out last month, she told me she wasn't ready for a boyfriend because she and her friends think she's just not ready. A month later she has a boyfriend. The worst part is that we're still friends but she didn't tell me she has a boyfriend. We've been friends since middle school and now we're almost graduating in high school. How can she lie to me like that? Everyone tells me the boyfriend is ugly as fuck. What should I do?

Because she doesn't like you as anything beyond a friend, that's why she said it to spare your feelings.

If your looking for more than a friend you better move on bro.

    What he said,

If she liked you more then just as a friend, she would have dropped some hints.
As you said, you known her for years and nothing happened.
So just dropped it and let it be. As she has saved you some *face* and must have cherish your friendship. Although by turning you down with a lie. You are a smart guy, ain't worth to ruin your friendship with her by confronting her with that.

    Lol, *boyfriend ugly as fuck*.
Nah dude, don't worry. It's not YOU who is lying in bed with him.
Why would you even care tbh...
As they say: there are many fishies out there in the sea.
    Just look around.

Right, to get back at her? OK, I'm gonna date her friend, buy her chocolate, send her flowers, give her a personality, and eventually eat strawberries with her. That should show the other girl who the better guy is! YEA!

Big UPDATE! I told the ugly boyfriend that she likes Ménage à trois. Apparently the boyfriend knew and told me that even they dated, they were Ménaging with another guy!

To the OP, I think Bulla hit the nail on the head with his comment of "...that's why she said it to spare your feelings." Shadowchi is also correct with his observation of "...It's not YOU who is lying in bed with him." Women tend to be very non confrontational when it comes to turning guys down. They will always give you a whole host of 'pretend' reasons why they can't go out with a guy; but the real reason is, they don't like the guy. Guys who have been around will instantly read the writing on the wall and go away. But, every once in a while, a guy that doesn't have a clue to the real reasons, tries to decipher, rectify the reason, or solve the 'problem'; with the expectation that she would then be free to love him. There's no chance in this case. Given the fact that:

IMHO, I would suggest to you that if you really want to get her, beg her for a p.ity sex (ie. take pity on me and please let me f.uck you), as she doesn't like you at all and you won't get her any other way. A smart man would just move on...

Perhaps you're acting like a whiny bitch, that's why she doesn't like you. Should've gotten the sign and move on .. what's the purpose of trying to get her back by dating her friend? The friend didn't do shit to you. You should be glad she didn't turn you down straight .. she could've said something worst .. you're BUTT UGLY or whatever shit .. but then again, on the other post .. you claimed that you're so good looking .. so full of yourself that you can't accept the fact of being turned down.

I'm going to be harsh on this one: Judging from your posts, you can tell that you are a very immature little boy. Even if you did not indicate that you were in high school, its still possible to guess. If you have more time in planning how to revenge why don't you spend it on studying. Its very clear why your long known friend has zero interest in you. I pity you for your narcissistic and narrow minded personality. Your certainly not the type of character a sane female would go out with.

she doesnt sound a friend to me, a friend won't lie to you most girls give excuses when it comes to rejection or just plain lie. so what if the guy is ugly she has chosne him now, so dont dwell on it and move on

Clearly in this case YOU are not what she is looking for in a bf and she wanted to just say NO in a nice way! You can say she's lying to you...OR... a way of expressing it in a way of not wanting to hurt your feelings...all depends on how you see it. If she did not lead you on in anyway, then she did anything wrong - and clearly you must let go and forget about her.

However, if she did lead you on, i.e. one-to-one dinners/dates or phone calls/sms/visit you on her own...dropping hints...then although its not right for her to do this, but we know most girls are attention seeking creatures! :)
