how did you feel about it? how'd that affect you? I got my first D and F in high school in my AP Calculus class, didn't feel too bad at that time but it affected me by causing me not to care about my grade anymore, lost motivation. or When was the time failed something badly and thought your life would not be the same. I remember that happened when i found out i can't get into a certain college cause of my grade (I manage to get in though, but not too successful afterwards anyways.....)
i failed once in my high school calculus test... a midterm test and the passing marks was 40%..i got 37%....i wasn't the only one though...not that it's difficult...it's just that most of us failed to grasp the idea on how to solve the questions....after that i swear i will get better a grade in my final year exam and i did...89% lol...it's hideous to have a red ink in my report card...
Lol...ihhh i think i got my first F when i was 10 which was for english somehow i always suck at writing compositions...Then i got quite a few Fs when i was 17 but now i am doing way better hahaha as if i got hit by lightning or something...
got hit by lightning? i have a friend claiming that he has become cleverer after his near death experience in a highway lmao...and surprisingly his results did improve
i think i got some in spanish and ICT GCSE, spanish i wasnt too bothered but ICT i was gettin annoyed cause it was really the fault of the school, we didnt have a proper teacher for like a year and once they found a permanent teacher, she was crap
i got a D when i was in first/2nd grade ... for public performance? since then ... have done alot of performances and public speaking throughout high school and all through college. FACE THE FEAR!
My first D was on my Calculus midterm in first year university. I cried for days, and didn't know how to react. In fact, I had never gotten anything less than A... So it was a big jump from A to D.... Nonetheless, getting that D on the midterm only made me work harder, and I eventually got an A on the overall.
Nice to hear that some of you work harder and made higher grades in the end. The first D that i ever gotten was in high shcool freshmen year.... and from there on my grades just kept dropping. Now as a junior, i really dont care anymore whether i passed or failed as long as my final average was at least a B. hahah i guess thats what i get for procrastinating hehe
^ awww poor ham sup jai....-hug..... yeh i got a F before for not doing my homework once like agesand ages ago.....so the teacher gave me a F -angry......but i got over it.....soon as i was to blame anyways..... tong tong.....ya gotta leanr to take responsibility for your own grades.......hahaha.....j.k
Lol philostrate...i did not get hit by lightning it just a metaphor hahaha i think i got Fs for my chemistry cause i had a sucky teacher..When i ask her questions regarding her teaching material she starts explaining then gets herself and me confused then she tells me i don have to know them.....I was like WTH and it happened quite a few times so in the end i got worse and worse....-sweat
Never. Have never gotten a D or an F in my entire life. Except for a D when I was in grade like 4 or 3 for drama because I messed up on this gay play.
I got my first D and E in my first year of college and couldnt believe it, I felt really bad all summer even thoughmost people in my class didnt even manage to get a grade at all. But in a way was a good thing as it motivated me to work even harder in my 2nd yr and I managed to retake and got As & Bs
I never get letter grades either, except for writing essays. Essays I never got lower than a B+. I've failed based on number grades though. I failed quite a lot of math tests and chem tests, but I always climb back up in the end.
i got my first D in my first semester of college. -.- i already didn't care, that's why i got a D in the first place. i did good in high school though and got lazy my senior year and it carried off to college.
