I know only of 2 burning program's: Nero and Roxio.

Since most of the DVD players can play .AVI files because you can put more files in it.
I use Roxio to burn data on DVD's because I can make longer names in the title. And it burned on max speed of 16x. But lately it went to 4x I don''t know how or what.

So I was wondering if you people know a better Buning programs then these 2?

windows comes now with their direct to cd writing method where u can just drag and drop software onto the DVD and have them write it for you. One thing you want to check is the media that you are using...make sure you got 16X media and are using DVD +/- R and not DVD +/- RW as they have different write speeds

i like nero by far, much better than roxio

Agreed I really like Nero as well. If you're planning on getting Nero, STAY AWAY FROM NERO 7. Nero 6 is your best bet. :)

convertxtodvd, it's for burning movies. It's pretty good, burning a movie only takes about 1 hr. If you burn it on Nero, it will take about 3 hrs.. and they both have the same quality.

I'm using DVD+R 1-16x DVD's. I don't know why it got slower I always used the same kind. But a few days ago I brought a new spindle. Then it got slower

    Why shouldn't I use 7?

cos 7 takes up more space, and basically has nothing much more that u need than nero 6
