AI is a good player but it seems like no team wants to sign him to long contract so which team is he going to end up with?

i think he'll eventually sign with the bobcats. his next closest suitor was the clippers, but the clips seem to be far more interested in ramon sessions.

edit: it seems the grizzlies have a legitimate chance at him

Nobody should sign him after his stint with the pistons. One day he is ok with coming off the bench, but one day after coming off the bench he starts complaining about how he has always been a starter. Dont need him. He and Starberry should go overseas.

if he could be had for the right price, i think a lot of teams would be interested because he'll help generate revenue (donald sterling of the clippers tried to get him signed).

Latest news, AI may be signing with the Memphis Grizzles.... AI can still play, but may have to put his ego await - he is no longer a starting point guard, will have to come off the bench..

if AI joins the grizzlies, i think he'll get the starting spot with mayo. don't see him coming off the bench again

it also can be that he will be a starting but as pg or sg with just other position it don't have to be in one position

He's dealing with age and health issues and he's not cheap. Not many teams are going to waste time on him. He still can play and have a lot of experiences but is it worth it...

for teams hurting in this economy, i would say yes. guy will help get more sales and he can still score.

dude is still a sick scorer and he'll probably still be for a couple more years. i don't see teams spending big money on him since he isn't going to get anything above the MLE. probably a low base salary with lots of incentives.

He is pretty poor in sportsmanship he doesn't really even want to play, and most of the time he hogs the ball a lot. He is a pointguard... should really pass more than shoot. I also heard lots of bad things about him too. I guess its better off for him in the bobcats at least he can attract some audience to watch him in a low possibility to enter playoff team.

playing for euroleague is prolly better off for him (or just retire..) i doubt any NBA team would sign him cause his big contract (recession and lowered salary cap) and ego.. its better used to sign young talented players..

he was a nasty PG back in the day. but now, he's more of a combo guard. when it is all said and done, i am pretty confident that AI will be playing in the NBA again
