Who is your favirote : jackie chan - jet li - donnie yen ? plz allow me to declare my opinion for this comparison jackie chan he is the one who can do things we can not do as a normal human mean he makes the impossibale possible ,, that is because his skills and his constant TRAINING that leads him to be always in danger he is amazing by using the environment around to help his fight ,, so he is not depend on pure fight in usual jet li his is the traditional master of all his martial arts is perfect ,, i think he is the suitable one who can make the martial arte movie that type of movies are so difficult ,, it need more than experience in real martial arts i feel that he dont act to be martial arts ,, because he is. in fearless , jet li proves that ,, and he overtop to himself ,, feel sorry when he said that fearless will be the last martial arts movie he was introduce. donnie yen the fighter ,, he used to introduce the impulsive character he wants to make his own still among heroes ,, and he success in many ways his pure fight leads him to reality ,, yes his fight can be the street fight ,, and he can won caz it based on marial arts principals .. finally i prefer to called it by modern fight of marial arts ,, and he is the best on this field let us look to them by anotherr view jackie wanna be actor more than action fighter actor but it is too late-- jackie put himselfe in action mode from the first ,, the only thing can make us accept him in different mode ,, his varies roles jet li is doig will from this side hie roles is in wide extension ,, he even act evil role that thing jackie did not dare to do ( expect his early role in " rumble in hk " ) ,, may be he afraid from audience to hate him .. on the contrary jet li makes an effective role in evil like " lethal weapon 4 " ,, he was a star on it, i can accept a drama from him than jackie again back to donnie who actually has a deep emotion and view of points ( a lot ) to show ,, he can be touchable in drama ,, may be his working on TV helps him ,, because no one fight all 24 hour/day so he must act ,, i think he can do more than what he did but he need good storyline and script to do that he need to get out from the impulsive policeman ,, he must take off the hero face to be hero any way all the 3 need a rich script ,, so they can show more and we can see real drama beside action ,, not just action and to be fair ,, donnie have gift of Martial Arts Choreographer jackie have a creative motion for me hard to choose just one of them -surr hope u can -noclue
i said JET LI.....more traditional i guess, not saying Donnie + Jackie aren't good, i prefer Jet Li tho.
jacky chan: don't really got anything against him, but i kinda dislike it when he is making a joke of himself in some movies. i like movies where he plays a serious character. jet li: probably watched too much wong fay hong, i don't really accept it when he plays another character... that and he's getting really, really old now O_O, or at least, he looks very old lol donnie yen: i like him most, he's not as known as the other two through the world, but in asia he is pretty known as far as i know. i like his style in movies, especially in SPL and flashpoint he was freaking good to me.
Prolly Jet Li... he's got the real moves... n then Donnie Yan i don't like Jackie Chan AT ALL!!! his moves r not real... he's just famour for doing his own stunts... but he started off as a stunt guy anyway... n ever since he started filming in Hollywood he's just became a clown that wears less makeup to me... sorry Jackie fans...
My favorite one´s Donnie, he makes the best fight scenes, I admit that he isn´t a very good actor, but he´s the best fight coreographer.
I like Jet Li the best kung fu fighter, Donnie Yen second, last is Jacky chang. Jacky chang is like a micky mouse figher.
jackie chan- i'll always support and pick him after any martial arts guy. he's the one that makes sad people happy by watching his comedy-action films
I'll pick jet li, i'm always his fans, and yup he really want to explore about his acting, he can play the good or the bad guy. He always looks cool in his every movie except unleash (danny the dog) though but i surely like him.
i personally prefer jet li. loved him in wong fei hong and fearless.. jackie chan is always doing action stunts and comical fighting scenes. he's the acrobatic 'entertainer' fighter, he can use anything in the nearby environment to use as his weapons for fights. i can't debate how dangerous some of his choreographed actions are, like jumping off buildings, knocking into signboards, smashing into glass windows etc.. but those are more of action stunts, and i'm someone who prefer wushu more. jet li is the real wushu martial arts fighter here. i see him more of like a child prodigy in wushu, being an all-rounded national wushu champion for 5 consecutive years, obtained before the tender age of 17 years old. it is a pleasure see his graceful wushu strokes and how be amazed at how he can be so apt in so many types of weapons, especially proven in fearless. he's like righteous the hero who always exist in martial arts movies, and his wushu display is worth every cent of the movie ticket price. but it is sad he will no longer star in anymore martial arts films due to his leg injuries.. :( i havent seen much of donnie yen's work so i cant comment..
Jet Li is my favourite. I like him in the movie HERO. I understood the movie concept perfectly because the story was told from several different view of the same event.
Donnie yen hands down!!! Jackie is more for comedy now adays his old movies were amazing e.g. drunken master 2! jet li again old films were great, fist of legend, and the once upon a time in china series. DOnnie yen has always been consistent fighting even the modern films with him now are still old school pure fight which is wicked for us marital arts fans!!!
Agree Jet Li > Donnie Yan > Jackie Chan (But Jet Li and Donnie Yan comes very close... I really enjoy watching Donnie street fights)
Jet Li>Jackie Chan>Donnie Yen Honestly, I would have like to put Donnie first, he's been great in the few films I've seen him in but I've met him in person and he's pretty arrogant and a diva...so....that kinda tarnished my image of him
