i don't see why everyone hates NY... everyone says its because they have the highest payroll... well think about this for a second... they dominated baseball for the last decade... as a result they don't have the greatest farm system thanks to lack of high draft picks... in reverse... look at Tampa Bay... they've had the basically the worst team every year since they formed... had consistently high draft picks... and now they're top of the league... with one of the lowest payrolls... if the Yankees had the same high draft picks every single flaming year, they wouldn't have to buy their talents... FINALLY this year the Yankees decided to bet on their farm system, refused big signings... and everyone's still bitching and moaning...
yea, have to agree, it probably might be the angels but still mayb red socks, the AL, tampa aint making it i think, due to inexperience in the end, the red sox will better the yanks but depends on heatlth for angels and socks, other then that the wild card wont win and the cetral, tigers are losing and chi sox are up and down a bit, too many high scores...the NL contenders, the east is crazy, dont think marlins will hold up wit pitching, phils are joke, they lucky rite now, and offense can do better and pitching....yea, mets need to put it together or they out....the Weest i am sad to say stinks, pitching is great, run support not so, and the central brewers are looking great, i think they will face ether socks or angels and one of the east will win.
I want to say the Boston Red Sox. Even though, they aren't winning a lot now and is going through a slump. They have a lot of experience and talent to get over the hump. If the bullpen starts to put their acts together. This is a team to beat.
the Sox aren't gonna win... No Manny, their middle lineup has just turned mediocre... the only reason Big Papi could hit so well was cuz he could always rely on Manny in the end if he screws up... and vice versa... now there's no Manny, u have Jason Bay... who's decent, but no Manny... the Red Sox just lost 50-75rbi's the rest of the season... that's gotta hurt...
